I had to share this photo. We went swimming today with Jodi my 777 bride in my brand new $99 David's Bridal gown. What fun we had!

I can't wait for next summer when it warms up again!

Trash the Dress... Fad or Fabulous?

Everyone has an opinion about this post-wedding day bridal session with a very anti-bridal name. I, too, have an opinion about this new phenomenon that is getting brides to tear the plastic off their dresses and jump into pools, run through fields and go crazy with the accessories... but it's too late to philosophize now. I've just spend 8 hours working with 4 fabulous brides to create some awesome images and I want to make sure I share a few of my favorites with you.

My underwater camera and I are ready for anyone else who wants to jump in the pool before it gets too cold!

Our homegrown Posh and Beck:

Katie, my beautiful "rock star" bride and Joe, our hansom professional footballer (soccer player) were definitely decked out in style for their wedding day. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Old Cathedral followed by an elegant reception at the Sheraton Westport. As an added bonus, we were treated to an unusually mild August day, which allowed for some very enjoyable photos outside.

We wish them the very best for a long and happy marriage. (We can't wait for your "photo-shoot" in Milwaukee!)
