Welcome baby Ellie!!!
I have to post this for several reason. 1) Ellie is so cute! 2) Her parents are really cool videographers - Brian and Angee from archwaymedia.com 3) I shot it with my new D300 (my new baby ;) )
I also want to show how beautiful a session in the hospital can be the day after the baby is born. Now I know, most moms are a little swollen and feel a little unattractive after giving birth. But the truth is that the "new mom" glow makes up for any swelling. I'm sure that Brian would agree with me that Angee looked as pretty as she ever has holding Ellie. And I know that years from now Ellie will appreciate this very intimate and caring photo with her mother.

Stephanie, I originally didn't "get" the whole 'pics at the hospital' thing at first. Thank you so much for pressing the issue! These photos will be treasured for SEVERAL lifetimes - until the generation gap gets so big nobody cares who's in those pics anymore! :) My mom has a big framed pic of her holding me the day I was born. Now we have a second generation to match it! This moment with Ellie is absolutely priceless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
