Elana & Tony – April 1, 2006

We now have more people to visit in Chicago! (Though I doubt they realize we might take them up on their offer! I know a great little tapas place…)

Elana and Tony’s April Fools wedding by the reflecting pools in the Missouri Botanical Garden was gorgeous. You could not have asked for a better day! The garden was beautiful, the bride was gorgeous (LOVED her dress and veil) and the groom even put up with getting his photo taken. (We love Tony - he’s pretty cool.)

It was a simple and elegant brunch wedding with an extra touch of class. We had a wonderful time working with the family and bridal party and even showed up to document the after party at the bowling alley. Somehow they coaxed us into bowling a few frames. Besides the fact that I proved I should definitely not give up my day job for bowling, I invented a new word. I bowled a “spike.” (A spike is when you get a strike on the second ball. Yes, it is still scored as a spare, but you can at least brag that you knocked down all the pins in one throw.)

We feel very privileged to have met Elana & Tony and wish them all happiness.
