MEXICO with Julie & Luke – March 11, 2006
The Couple: I’ve been trying to come up with the best way to explain to you who Julia and Luke are. To tell you that they are beautiful, kind, caring, fun, fabulous people just doesn’t seem enough!!! So I’ll let the photos do most of the talking. It was difficult to choose the photos to post on the blog. Please visit the main gallery to view the entire weeks activity. Available 3/28
The Wedding: Julie and Luke had their destination wedding in Mazatlan, Mexico. The family brought us down a few days early so that we could cover some of the events that they had planned and take family photos on the beach. We enjoyed the chance to get to meet the family and guest and get to know them before the wedding. The wedding day had perfect weather and an awesome sunset. We finished off the week with a post wedding day shoot on the beach.
Geography: Mazatlan is located on the west coast of Mexico. It is a beautiful area to have a wedding and take photos. The hotel, Pueblo Bonito, was gorgeous. It truly was a tropical paradise. We liked the town because it had all the amenities that a big city offers with out being too touristy. We enjoyed our time down there and would be happy to travel there again on business. Plus it gave us a chance to practice our Spanish. (We’re proficient in Spanish, or at least pretend to be.)
